I recently joined the E-tail Bloggers Network and spied a great competition to win £75 to spend at Marc B and £175 to spend at ASOS so I just have to enter! Marc B is one of my favourite accessory brands and ASOS is my go-to site for clothing & footwear purchases!
As I have mentioned before, I am off to Spain in May, to a little town called Loja near Malaga. My boyfriend’s parents live there and I can’t wait to explore! The weather there is generally very warm so I have based my outfit around this.
I am in love with this dress from the petite range at ASOS. The paisley pattern is right on trend and it looks light & floaty which is what I need! I love the petite range at ASOS, they have a bigger selection that any other store I know of! I have added the cute red waist belt to tone in with the colours of the dress and some cute sandals which would be perfect for walks around the town and trips to the beach! The spiked necklace keeps this outfit right up to date and adds a bit of ‘edge’. Makeup would be kept very light and simple so I would use this Rimmel BB cream and a touch of Korres lip butter.
I have chosen the Olive soft tan bag from Marc B. I mentioned this bag in a previous post as I think it is a very adaptable colour and style so I could wear it with any outfit! I love the size as it would be perfect for holding all my essentials including water, my camera, purse and suncream.

I never saw Internacionale as a go-to clothing store. Nothing about it ever appealed to me. Until now! How utterly amazing has its transformation been?! It’s gone from being dark, dismal and out of touch, to fresh, intriguing and modern. And most importantly, thoroughly affordable!
I made a trip in yesterday, seduced by the clean lines and gorgeous new arrivals at the entrance. Here is a (small) selection of my current Internacionale must haves!

3. Fox jumper £19.99
4. Black dip hem dress £16.99
5. Midwash denim shirt £17.99

Do you ever buy from Internacionale? Which item are you craving most?
One of my favourite brands Marc B is currently running a giveaway on their Facebook page where you can win a gorgeous new season bag.
I own three Marc B bags and have to say they look far more expensive than they actually are! I’m in need of a new ‘everyday’ handbag so these are my favourites from the current range:
‘Olive’ soft tan slouch bag
This is just the perfect colour for the winter to spring transition. The size is perfect and I love the casual feel of it. I would definitely take this on my trip to Spain in May!
‘Madison’ maroon tote
I absolutely love the colour of this, it’s unusual and striking. The shape is very classic yet practical.
‘Millie’ black ostrich handbag
Just how expensive does this look?! It is a bargain at only £55. I love the tassel detail and the structured look.
What are your favourites from the Marc B range?

I have been struggling to find a pair of boots that are a) comfortable (I walk alot!) b) stylish and c) reasonably priced. Most cheap boots don’t last or are uncomfortable and I really don’t have alot of spare cash at the moment so can’t splash out! So imagine my excitement when I found these Rocketdog ‘Satire’ boots on Amazon for just £15!
The price has now shot up to £40 plus £4 delivery so I suppose I was lucky! I impatiently waited for them to arrive and couldn’t contain my excitement when I tried them on and exclaimed “I HAVE FOUND COMFORTABLE HEELED BOOTS!!!!” Admittedly, they were a little difficult to get my feet into at first, even though I don’t have wide feet, but this improved massively after wearing them for a few hours. The lining is so soft and warm and I don’t even realise they have heels! Okay, it’s not a high heel, but it’s just enough to make my legs look better and take my look from lazy student to 23 year old office worker.
I have requested a black pair for Christmas from my sister 🙂
You can buy these on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005468H5A/ref=asc_df_B005468H5A10127585/?tag=googlecouk06-21&creative=22134&creativeASIN=B005468H5A&linkCode=asn
or eBay. Prices vary.
I received the new Rimmel Scandal Eyes mascara in the post the other day from Glamour magazine. It was a competition prize I wasn’t expecting so was happy to receive it as I had wanted to try it!
I don’t really like the bright orange packaging but this is good value at £6.99 for 12ml from Boots.
The brush is nice and thick but I tend to prefer thinner brushes as they give an overall more natural effect.
I’ve been using this for the past couple of days and sadly am not overly impressed. The mascara goes on well and makes my eyelashes look long and curly and nicely separated:
However, after a few hours, the mascara has completely worn off and my eyelashes are back to how they were before I applied it! So unfortunately this product isn’t much good for me as I can’t keep applying throughout the day. I love mascaras that are long lasting, such as the Body Shop Big & Curvy mascara, which is the best I’ve used to date, even better than Benefit Bad Gal!
You can head over to the product page on the Boots site and read the reviews. Scandal Eyes mascara has only scored 3 stars out of 5 from customer reviews. I would score it 2.5 out of 5 as it is mediocre but I will continue using it, although will probably layer it with another mascara.
Today I am wearing this gorgeous Lipsy blouse:
It only cost £3 from the car boot sale I went to on Sunday!
I have an overwhelming need for some wedge heeled Chelsea boots for the winter – well, actually, for now because it may as well be winter!
I am in love with this pair from H&M and think I should order them before they go out of stock!
In other news, I made a purchase yesterday which excited me very much! I go a gorgeous black satchel bag by BCBG Max Azria in the TK Maxx clearance sale!! For the grand total of £44! TK Maxx original price was a hefty £129.99 so the RRP was probably double that! It is way more pretty in the flesh. I will try to get some of my own photos of it.
Heading out for dinner tonight. But the highlight of my weekend will definitely be my trip to a car boot sale on sunday – cannot wait!
I have just browsed through the (many!) new arrivals at H&M for the Autumn/Winter collection and am in LOVE with so many pieces! Burgundy and deep green seem to be the key colours to wear next season, which I am very happy about as I love deep colours. I’ve put together some of my favourite pieces.
If you are a lover of fashion, you need to go check these out!
